    maybe? but as i said. its an experiment. i have no idea if it will work or not. but at least it will be different. also, i think given that every vote so far has been for no FT, that they wont complain about having no FT toooo loudly. Also as shad said about it, having all the noob builds in one place makes clearing up earlier! the 'main town' if one springs up, doesn't need to be literally ON the spawn.

    The discussion has got sidetracked a lot, muddled in with a lot of other stuff and mis-interpreted etc. so for the sake of clarity, and because it keeps getting misrepresented THIS is what i proposed. nothing more, nothing less. its been talked about so much that what im being told i think often isnt anything ive said!     This isnt even about enforcing RP in any way. its literally that i think it might develop a bit if everyone is there and cant just TP away. if there is a spawn on each continent everyone will just be so spread out i dont see there being a high enough chance of this working to even try it. everyone will be just as spread out as they are now, but with no FT to visit each other. there will be next to no interaction between the different zones.

    I am heavily against a combination of no or limited FT AND more than 1 default spawn/safe zone. if you put spawn zones on opposite sides of the map, those groups will probably never meet, never travel to each others areas. there is little to no point them being on the same server together. With one start zone, people CAN go off into the distance and be hermits if they want to. so there is no requirement to stay near others. but at least that will be naturally encouraged and also, all the new/ran…

    Im (obviously) keen on this. primarily just because it will be different. what im hoping will happen is people will set up communities near to the spawn and interact more. instead of setting off for their favorite feature on the far side of the map. however, it will need people to RP a bit and get into the spirit of it.     if people think offline stealing is ok, i dont have a strong opinion on that. i just think its more fun and more challenging to wait until they are online. means you have to be smarter and more cunning and there is real risk of discovery.     Well, i didnt get to finish my main build area. the plan was for a complete block across one of the valleys leading into the north anchored with a castle at one end with all my storage,crafting, living quarters etc. and at the other end by an unassaliable citadel/watch tower on a mountain. across the middle would be a wall/bridge with a huge gate. The caste is valley pass castle, the citadel is the devil's fingers and the gate would be the NordGatte. The castle is 80% finished, the keep doesn't …

    I vote no because: 1. As it stands the coins are really just subdivided ingots. they add no functionality. gold and silver ingots are perfectly good currency for anything beyond small purchases 2. if the mod becomes incompatible for whatever reason, all the coins will dissapear. ingots will never do this. 3. They are too OP at paying taxes compared to ingots.
